The Ground Truth Center is a collection of practitioners and experts who seek to provide the rooting balance to US foreign policy. This organization's goal derives from the experiences of these practitioners who have watched the US struggle, at all levels to achieve stated goals commanders policymakers, legislators, diplomats and academics. Our organizations offers advocacy, transparency, guidance, rigor and critique at the level where the ideas intersect with reality.
Pete A. Turner is a former U.S. Army counterintelligence agent. Pete has deployed to Africa, Asia, and Europe on various assignments. Turner's experience includes over 70 months deployed to conflict zones with over 1000 combat patrols. Turner's publication includes articles that reveal "Ground Truth" lessons from combat zones.
Richard Ledet is a professor at Troy University.
Scott Richards has over 30 years of experience in international political, economic, security advisory and rule of law. Richards functionally serves as a ‘roaming’ nat-sec advisor between the West and the developing world. Richards’ worked in support of the Republic of the Islamic Government of Afghanistan from 2014 until the fall of the government in 2021,following which he assisted the U.K. Government under Minister Ballie to form the “Afghan Task Force”.
Dennis Rohn has decades of experience working in the the technology sector. Dennis' professional career has connected him to leaders at Salesforce, Tableau, CDW, Experian, 3M, CDW, Ecolabs, etc. Dennis' role within the GTC is to found, establish and network the organization's presence within the technology business space. Additionally, Dennis is partnering with technology vendors to identify use cases for amplifying technology for ground truth practitioners.
